Hurricane Ike

I know its been a week since the hurricane but i feel it might help some of us to move on from what has happened by discussing what indeed happened. If you have a comment, want to tell your story, or just need some place to get all this nervous energy out please do so here. I want to hear from you. Tell me about the crazy storm and how the trees fell and how crazy life is now with no light. Are you guys okay, do you need something, or do you know someone who needs help. Spread the word!

Personally i was freaked! The storm was so strong and completely not what i had expected! I'm glad i was with my family if not who knows what would have happened. Plus having no light and being cramped with all my sisters and my nephews with no air or tv was hectic and NOT fun. Also my dad had 3 trees fall on the lawn and barely miss the house. Its been very weird. BTW did ya see what happened at McReynolds? Crazy.

hey miss...
everything's ok on my side....just worried about people from skool. yeah, i passed by mcreynolds..all the trees by the 6th grade wing...
I was lucky and had electricity =) but cable's out, not complaining though.
I have been on avid space almost everyday leaving random people comments, etc.
The storm was pretty scary, especially Friday night. All I could hear was wind howling and the rain pouring down. I just hated the part about cleaning up afterwards....
it was just branches and leaves and stuff. nothing serious. thank god.

WE STAYED AT MY HOUSE AND NOTHING HAPPENED ONLY STRONG WINDS,GUST,AND RAIN. AND MY AUNTS HOUSE FELL DOWN IN GALVESTON!!!

the day before ike hit my family and i left to forth worth. we stayed there for about 2 days then came back to clean up the mess at my house.

I was scared so i left to Corpus Christi and i wuz with my aunt and uncle!!! (not much happened)

where all ok miss,there were alot of trees by my house that fell out from the roots...man it is not cool having light.. but i had light like 3 or 4 days after the storm..well r u ok...BYE MISS i will see u in TKS

HURRICANE IKE SCARED MY LIL BROTHER WHEN THE CAR ALARM WOULD GO OFF AND WHEN A 10 FOOT TREE FELL ON OUR BACKYARD AND MESSED UP OUR FENCE.THE WIND WAS TIGHT CUZIT SOUNDED LIKE A GHOST
